Leadership
Michael Pierson
As Administrator, Michael is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility. In this position, he has operational, strategic, and business development responsibilities for South Coast Post Acute. Michael has served as Administrator for more than 10 years, and has 20 years of experience as a healthcare administrator. Prior to his current position, Michael served as an administrator for a private facility, in addition to national healthcare companies, Beverly Enterprises and Kindred Healthcare.
Along with his dedication to upholding the highest clinical standards for patient care and safety, Michael is committed to enhancing the patient experience. Under his leadership, patient-satisfaction scores have ranked South Coast Post Acute at the top of the industry.
Vicky Limalima, RN
Vicky is South Coast Post Acute’s Director of Nurses. A strong, transformational leader, she influences the hospital’s strategic direction and ensures the goals and initiatives for her staff are aligned to ensure the best rate of patient recovery. In her position, Vicky ensures compliance, risk management, and directing her team to ensure the best care possible for patients.
Vicky has been at South Coast Post Acute for 9 years, and has 30 years of experience in healthcare and nursing.
Mischelle Aragones, LVN.
Mischelle is one of the first people you meet when arriving at South Coast Post Acute. As the Admissions Coordinator and a Case Manager, she oversees the admissions process, the in-patient experience, and confirms all health insurance benefits and coverages. As part of this process, Mischelle provides a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) assessment. When a patient has complex medical needs, Mischelle will visit the patient prior to admission.
In addition to her on-site duties, Mischelle maintains relationships with physicians, hospital discharge planners, insurance carriers and other professionals.
Mischelle has been with South Coast Post Acute for 8 years, and has 21 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
